Vladimír Vymětalík received his doctorate from the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Civil Engineering. Professionally, he specializes in the field of thermal protection for buildings. He serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Board for the Czech Association for ETICS and is a member of the Technical Standardization Commission for Fire Safety in the Czech Republic. He advocates for the quality of ETICS and its integration into buildings, with a current focus on fire safety and ETICS.

THE RESULTS OF LARGE FIRE EXPOSURE TESTS OF ETICS PRODUCT

Carrying out high fire load tests of the ETICS product serves as a tool for verifying the fire safety requirements for incorporating ETICS into the building. The presentation deals with the results of tests of the ETICS sample with thermal insulation from EPS in combination with a fire strip made of mineral wool and the underlying structure itself without ETICS.
