Pavel Zemene, Ph.D.

Dr Pavel Zemene received his doctorate from the University of Pardubice. He has spent nearly his entire professional career in the field of plastics. Since the establishment of the Czech EPS Association in 1998, he has served as its Chairman. He has been actively involved in expanded polystyrene (EPS) matters at both national and European levels. He is a member of several working groups within the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the European Organisation for Technical Assessment (EOTA), where he contributes to the development of documents related to ETICS. He is also currently engaged in work on EPS and circular economy issues.
