Magdalena Bardan, Deputy Head of the Department of Building Materials Engineering and a PhD candidate at the Building Research Institute. She has 16 years of industry experience, including 5 years at ITB, where she combines research activities with engineering practice, focusing on the prediction of the durability of building structures. She specializes in the multi-criteria assessment of material performance in the context of sustainable development. Her background in chemistry, acquired at the Military University of Technology and the University of Gdańsk, as well as her innate research curiosity, form the basis of her expert analysis of cause-and-effect environmental impacts on building materials.
