Over 30 years of scientific, research, and teaching experience related to energy efficiency in buildings, gained at the Silesian University of Technology. Author and co-author of dozens of international and national publications. Speaker at numerous conferences and seminars held both in Poland and abroad. Within sustainable construction, particularly focused on the topics of the decarbonization process in the construction industry, circularity, energy performance, and environmental aspects of buildings (Life Cycle Assessment, LCA). Responsible for the substantive aspects of national and international projects carried out by PLGBC. Ambassador for the energy transformation of the construction sector. Author and coordinator of the first Polish certification for residential buildings, ZIELONY DOM (Green Home). Also involved in the topic of the EU Taxonomy, adapting it to guidelines for assessing construction investments in the context of their compliance with EU taxonomy requirements.
