Graduate of the Faculty of Construction and Architecture at the Lodz University of Technology. In his professional work, he specializes in energy efficiency aspects of buildings, energy optimization, and product solutions for thermal, acoustic, and fire insulation applications using rock wool in buildings. He has been associated with the ROCKWOOL brand for more than 25 years and, for the past six years, has served as the Head of the Product Management Department at Rockwool CEE, overseeing the Rockwool product portfolio in Central European countries.

ETICS ON DAMP WALLS – DIFFUSION-OPEN INSULATING MATERIAL

In the presentation, the author will analyze humidity processes in an existing damp brick wall insulated with the ETICS system based on EPS and MW. The comparison aims to indicate differences in wall moisture over time and how these differences are perceived by residents. The assessment is the result of simulations conducted at the Opole University of Technology in the Department of Materials Physics by Zbigniew Perkowski, D.Sc., a professor at the Opole University of Technology.
