Since 2021, he has been running his own consulting agency specializing in regulations on construction products, cooperating with the Polish Association for ETICS (SSO). From 2021, he has been also associated with the Institute of Building Materials and Concrete Technology as an expert on legal regulations. From 2011 to 2021, Polish representative in the Standing Committee on Construction of the European Commission under Regulation No. 305/2011. Director of the Construction Products Department at the General Office of Building Control in 2018-2021. From 2010 to 2018, he was responsible in Poland for the implementation of the regulations on construction products into national legislation.

“Activity of construction supervision authorities in Poland and selected EU countries, and its consequences for the manufacturer in the context of legal sanctions for violation of regulations”

The presentation will compare recent years’ activities of construction supervision authorities in Poland and selected EU countries. Analysis of penal sanctions, provided in the regulations of individual member states for the manufacturer for placing products on the market that do not meet the requirements, will be presented. The author will also discuss the direction of the systemic changes governing legal sanctions in Poland.
