Paweł Krause, Ph.D., D.Sc.

Dr. Paweł Krause is a graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology. In 2005 he received a doctorate in technical sciences in construction at the same university. In 2022, he obtained his habilitation based on the monograph entitled “Analysis of thermal imperfections of ETICS systems taking into account convection inside the wall”. Academic teacher and promoter of over 150 diploma theses and engineering projects. Author and co-author of over 200 publications, and over 700 design studies and construction expertise. He is a member of the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians (PZITB). He is also a honorary member and founder of the Polish Green Building Association (PLGBC). Since 2006, he is authorized to design and manage construction works. The Polish Building Supervision Authority construction appraiser since 2014 and National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR) expert.

“The analysis of ETICS thermal imperfections with particular emphasis on convection inside the wall”

European legislation defines requirements for harmonized assessment of ETICS. European Technical Assessment issued based in EAD 040083-00-0404 entitled ‘External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS) with Renderings” allows manufacturers to proceed with CE marking of ETICS. In presentation, the proposed changes to the document EAD 040083-01-0404, that have been prepared by the EOTA working group, will be presented.
