“The role of thermal insulation in achieving the WT 2021 standard by buildings”
The presentation will provide answers to the question of what thicknesses of insulation materials should be used to achieve the values of the coefficients of the annual demand for non-renewable primary energy (EP) for individual types of buildings and various types of heat sources, required by the Regulation on technical conditions (WT 2021). The problems related to insulation use with considerable thicknesses will be discussed, including technical, economic, social, and aesthetic problems. In addition, the author will discuss the barriers to increasing energy efficiency in construction and the prospects for implementing zero-emission building standards in terms of the development of the thermal insulation industry.
